There are both archery mule deer hunts, and rifle muley hunts as well. The archery hunts are in early September and can be combo’d with elk. The rifle hunts run October 15th – early November for rut hunts. The later the hunt, the more the cost as it approaches rut.
This outfitter can handle parties of up to 6, and he will get everyone in your group a crack at a nice muley. Hunters don’t have to be super fit for this hunt as the ranches are well-roaded and many of them are on the edge of the agriculture in the valleys. But if you are fit and looking for an adventure he has ground that will test even the most fit hunters.
