Free Range Estate Hunt
This Free Range Argentina Red Stag Hunt is located in northern Patagonia in La Pampa. La Pampa, is a province in central Argentina, within the vast Pampas grasslands and the north part of the famous Patagonian region. South Of Santa Rosa, the capital city Lays, PARQUE LURO RESERVE, founded by turn of the 20th century PEDRO LURO , a French-Basque immigrant who started the first hunting preserved in the country. He imported red deer and European wild boar. Today, they have spread nationwide but all our properties are within 100 miles of where everything started. Many other species has been introduce and today, called home. Fallow and Axis deer, Blackbuck antelope and water buffalo coexist with the native species such as Puma, fox, Guanaco, Patagonian Mara and Reha. A graceful combination of dunes, brackish streams, saline patches and prickly Calden trees. Often people compares the scenery to South Africa.
The Hunt
This hunt is conducted by 1 guide per hunter, with the modalities of spot and stalk or the use of blinds if preferred. The hunter distribution within the ranch, is done by 4WD vehicles. The shooting distance, can vary between 50 to 150 yards (some opportunities of longer shots are possible).
THIS PROPERTY OFFERS PRESERVE AND FREE RANGE HUNTING RED STAG ONLY. DOVE HUNTING conducted over close by fields and feedlots.
Your Arrival
Upon your arrival in Buenos Aires international Airport (EZE) there is a domestic flight to Santa Rosa city, La Pampa state (about 1hour and 20 minutes) once you have landed , a representative will greet you and drive you to the ranch.
NOTE: the departure of domestic flights are out of Jorge Newbery Airport (IATA-AEP / IACO-SABE) many transfers available. Assistance it can be arrange.
Ground transportation is also a good option, only a 380 miles, about 6 hours drive
