Alaska Wrangell St. Elias Preserve Moose Hunt
This Alaska Wrangell St. Elias Preserve Moose Hunt moose hunt is an exclusive federal concession, horse assisted hunt. Horses get hunters from base camp to spike camp then they hunt on foot from there. It is a very reliable hunt with bulls averaging 60″ for many years. Camps are tents or wall tents with cots and heaters. Base camp is pretty extensive with big tents and a cook shack, outhouse, shower tent, etc. Guides average over ten years moose hunting experience. Great horses and mules, we don’t have any green stock in our outfit. Scenery is spectacular with hunting taking place in glacial valleys between the giant Wrangell Mountains.
