High Success New Mexico Elk Hunt
Hunters should be ready to walk from 2-4 miles a day on mostly flat terrain, with small canyons, rolling hills. The success rate is very high with well-placed shots (80%-90%). Hunter should practice shooting and be comfortable shooting 200- 400 yards. We hunt residential elk herds. On these properties we have huge crop plantings that keep these elk coming back. We hunt numerous ways: calling in the elk, spot and stalk style or in hunting blinds.
