The Hunt
This is a limited guide use area on a US Forest Service Special Use Permit. The Outfitter is the only guide service permitted to operate in one of the two areas. Human impact has been very limited over the past 10 years. Having approximately 120 miles of river to hunt along with all the great side tributaries and slew areas that feed the main river. Travel and access will be by either Jet boat or Zodiac. With the salmon running, bears will be out in the open cruising the riverbank. During the spring season spot and stalk, and baiting are the go-to methods.
