Post Covid Hunting
Post Covid Hunting in the United State has maxed the industry like we have never seen before and we believe you should be hunting in countries like Argentina and Africa in 2023. I have been in the business of booking hunts now for over a decade and by far elk and deer outfitters are booked in advance and able to do it, charging the highest price increases we have ever witnessed. The demand cannot satisfy the supply for elk and deer hunting and the result is very expensive hunting and almost no spots still open for 2023 and in fact as of Dec of 22, we are seeing most good outfitters already about 25% booked for 2024.
I believe there are three reasons this is happening. One, is that when Covid hit, people, as a mass, have become more interested in the outdoors. It’s such an interesting result of the whole “scamdemick.” Almost every form of outdoor activity has exploded and hunting has as well. There are tons of new hunters in the market and they are inexperienced and want to hire a guide.
Lastly, hunters are less likely to get on a plane and globally travel than they did before. It seems we have become “gun shy” with global travel and that is putting additional pressure on hunting here at home with a glut of hunters wanting to hunt elk and deer.
