Utah guaranteed tags are some of the most expensive but also some of the best.  CWMU guaranteed Utah elk hunting tags can range from $4000-$15,000.  There are some big ranches and some exceptional elk and deer.  Again, trying to “go on your own” can be an expensive lesson or you can find out more about this high quality Utah Guaranteed Tags Elk Hunt.  I have found that in Utah, you really need to “know” someone, it’s a “who you know state.”  If you don’t, my advice is not to guess.

Lastly, my home state of Idaho! Finding guaranteed elk tags in Idaho can really only be done legally through an outfitter.  Land owners cannot legally sell you a landowner tag but outfitters have guaranteed tags. But you must book a hunt with them to access those tags.  We have a couple exceptional outfitters but buyer beware!  Idaho public land has a lot of hunters now and it can be hard to find good hunting between hunting pressure and wolves.  Calling me would be your best bet as I know this state (My home for 52 years) like the back of my hand.
